The Gabbibotnen is a mountain basin in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the XU-Fjella of Heimefrontfjella , it is between Storsveenfjellet and Rasmussenegga .
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named him in 1987 after Gabbi Sømme (née Holst, 1899–1952), who helped refugees in Stavanger in the resistance movement against the German occupation of Norway during World War II .
