The Storsveenfjellet ( Norwegian is) a 1900 m high mountain in the Heimefrontfjella the East Antarctic Queen Maud Lands . It rises in the southern part of the XU-Fjella .
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named him in 1967 after Arvid Storsveen (1915-1943), a member of the XU resistance movement against the German occupation of Norway in World War II , who was killed on April 27, 1943 while trying to escape.
