Gabi Lüeße

Gabriele Lüeße (born November 23 in Schleswig ) is a German television journalist and presenter .

Life

Growing up in the village of Eggebek , Gabi Lüeße graduated from high school in Flensburg . She then studied political science , sociology and psychology at the Universities of Hamburg and Kiel .

After she worked as a news anchor in Schleswig-Holstein private radio station R.SH . She also worked as an author for NDR 1 Welle Nord and as a reporter for the regional window Hamburg / Schleswig-Holstein of the private television broadcaster RTL . Since 2003, Lüeße has been responsible for the presentation of the news block within the NDR regional program Schleswig-Holstein Magazin , and since 2017 she has been one of the co-presenters of this program.

Between 2009 and 2011 she successfully completed an apprenticeship as a naturopath.

Lüeße has a daughter and lives with her partner in Kiel.

Awards

She was awarded the Juliane Bartel Prize in 2004 for the report broadcast on NDR: How women combine work and family - positive examples of family-friendly businesses . This included training at the moderator academy for media and business.

In the following year, Gabi Lüeße, together with her colleagues Andrea Jedich and Michaela Kahmke, received the Health Media Prize of the Schleswig-Holstein Association of Healthcare Professions (IDH).
