Gabriel Marghieri

Gabriel Marghieri (* 1964 in Monaco ) is a French organist, composer and professor of music theory and improvisation at the Conservatoire National Supérieur Lyon .

Gabriel Marghieri completed his studies of organ, improvisation and composition with honors at the Paris Conservatory , where he was taught by Marie-Claire Alain , Michel Chapuis and Loïc Mallié , among others . He is titular organist at the Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre in Paris and at Saint-Bonaventure Lyon, where he is also artistic director of the Heures d'orgue and founder of the Association des Amis de l'orgue .

In addition to his work as an organist at concerts and lecturer at master classes in Europe, Canada and Japan , Marghieri also composes organ and piano music , choral music and works for various instrumental ensembles, acts as a juror and edits articles for specialist journals. He has also recorded several CDs.
