St Albans International Organ Festival
The St Albans International Organ Festival is a biennial international music festival in St Albans, southern England . It was founded in 1963 by organist Peter Hurford on the occasion of the Harrison & Harrison organ building in St Albans Abbey . Until 1965 it was initially organized annually. As part of music competitions , prizes in interpretation and improvisation (also Tournemire Prize) for organ are awarded.
