Gabriele Grollmann-Mock (born June 27, 1959 in Bottrop ) is a German municipal civil servant ( independent ) and full-time mayor of the town of Schwelm in the Ennepe-Ruhr district .

After graduating from the Josef Albers Gymnasium in Bottrop, Grollmann was trained as an administrative graduate . From 1982 to 2014 she worked for the Gladbeck city ​​administration and then moved to the Münster regulatory office .

Grollmann-Mock was elected mayor of Schwelm in the local elections on September 30, 2015 with 62.3% of the valid votes cast and has been in office since October 21, 2015.

On April 18, 2019, she announced that she would not run again for mayor in 2020.

Gabriele Grollmann-Mock is the mother of an adult daughter. As a trained CliniClown , Grollmann-Mock accompanies sick children or people suffering from dementia in their free time.
