Gabriele Nissim
Gabriele Nissim (* 1950 in Milan ) is an Italian journalist , essayist and historian .
Live and act
Nissim has always been concerned with the cultural and political situation in Northern Europe . In 1982 he founded L'Ottavo Giorno (" The Eighth Day "), an Italian magazine that deals with the dissent in the eastern states of Europe.
He also made numerous documentaries for the Italian television station Canale 5 and stations from Italian-speaking Switzerland on the secret resistance against communism , the problems of post-communism and the situation of the Jews in the East .
Nissim worked for Panorama , Il Mondo , Il Giornale and the Corriere della Sera newspapers .
