Gaby Papenburg

Gabriele "Gaby" Papenburg (born February 27, 1960 in Walsrode ) is a German television presenter .

Life

After graduating from high school , Gaby Papenburg studied comparative literature in Bonn and Hamburg and completed her studies with a master's degree .

In 1984 she completed an internship at the German television broadcaster Sat.1 and later worked as an editor and television presenter for the television program Sat.1 Blick . From 1987 Papenburg also presented Sat.1 breakfast television and live broadcasts of sporting events. In February 1992 she finally moved to the sports department of Sat.1. She is known as the anchorwoman for the soccer show ran . Since 1993 she has been part of the broadcaster's regular base of moderators and moderated the magazines Sat.1 in the evening , Sat.1 in midday and Blitz . Since June 2004 she has moderated N24 Transportwelt - the truck driver's magazine at N24 . From October 2007 to January 2009 Papenburg presented the weekend editions of the television program Das Sat.1-Magazin . In addition, from 2008 to 2013 she again presented the Sat.1 breakfast television as a substitute . From January 2013 to September 2014 she moderated the weekly lunch magazine Gesund und Taster on Sat.1 Gold , and from February to August 2014 she also presented the wellness magazine LebensLust, which is broadcast every Saturday .

Papenburg lives in Berlin with her husband and two sons . She is the longest employee of ProSiebenSat.1. Papenburg has been a member of the supervisory board of THW Kiel since November 1, 2019 .
