Galaxy 3C (formerly also called PanAmSat 9 and PAS 9 ) is a broadcast satellite of the satellite operator PanAmSat . The company Sea Launch was responsible for transporting the satellite into space: On 28 July 2000 he brought a Zenit rocket from the launch platform Odyssey of the space. The satellite has an expected lifespan of around 15 years.
