John Bernard Larroquette (born November 25, 1947 in New Orleans , Louisiana ) is an American actor .

Life

John Larroquette was best known for his role as the sex-obsessed District Attorney Dan Fielding in the sitcom Harry's Wondrous Criminal Court , for which he won an Emmy from 1985 to 1988 . He later played the title role in the series Night Shift with John and the Father in the five-part film The Tenth Kingdom .

In 2007 and 2008 he starred as Carl Sack in the justice series Boston Legal , alongside William Shatner , Candice Bergen and James Spader . In 2010 he starred in three episodes of the series CSI: NY Chief Ted Carver.

John Larroquette is married and has three children.
