The Gangneung Stadium is a football stadium in the South Korean city of Gangneung , Province Gangwon-do . Hyundai Horangi used the stadium from 1987 to 1989. From 2009 to 2017, the Gangwon FC franchise used the stadium for its home games. Gangneung City FC has also been using the stadium as their home ground since 1999. The club currently plays (2018) in the Korea National League , the third highest division in South Korea.
