Traditional specialty guaranteed

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The EU community symbol for products that are labeled as guaranteed traditional specialty (g. T. S.).

The guaranteed traditional specialty (g. T. S., English TSG) describes a traditional composition or a traditional manufacturing process of the product. This category includes, for example, mozzarella , Serrano ham and Pizza Napoletana .

The use of the community symbol is regulated in accordance with Regulation (EU) No. 1151/2012 in conjunction with Delegated Regulation (EU) No. 664/2014. In contrast to the designations of origin g.gA and PDO , gTS does not contain any geographical indications of origin - with the exception of the country in which it is valid.
