Gard Myhre (born July 5, 1974 ) is a former Norwegian Nordic combined skier .

Career

Gard Myhre made his debut in the Nordic Combined World Cup on December 12, 1992 in Courchevel, France . In a Gundersen competition on the large hill, he finished ninth. He achieved his best result in the World Cup around five years later on December 11, 1997 with a fourth place in the Steamboat Springs sprint . His career turned out to be more successful in the second-rate B-World Cup of Nordic Combined . In this competition series he was able to win two competitions and the overall ranking in the 1995/96 season .

Myhre took part in the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in 1993 in Harrachov , Czech Republic . Together with Knut Borge Andersen and Halldor Skard , he won the gold medal in the team competition. In the individual competition he achieved the bronze medal with third place behind Andersen and the Austrian Christoph Eugen .

Gard Myhre completed his last international race on March 13, 1998 in Oslo .
