Gardiner Ridge is a mountain ridge in Marie Byrd Land, West Antarctica . In the Ames Range it connects Mount Kauffman with Mount Kosciusko .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1959 to 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1974 after James Edward Gardiner (* 1929), who in 1956 took part in supply trips from Little Station America V was involved in the construction of the Byrd station .
