The bus station Chambery (Gare routière de Chambéry) is a bus station in the French town of Chambery . The operator is Transdev Savoie.

history

The bus station was provisionally built in the center of Chambéry, on Paul Vidal Square in front of the post office. Challes-les-Eaux train station is around 100 meters away . The final bus station is to be built directly at the station, as a multimodal network link directly in front of the station. There was already a bus station there until 2014. On February 4th, the bus station was temporarily relocated to Verney Park in order to be able to carry out the construction work on the future multimodal stop. After the construction work is completed, the bus station is to be moved back to its original location.

The seven bus platforms are arranged diagonally along the French post office building . Opposite stop seven, the only bus platform accessible to people with physical disabilities, there is a building with ticket sales, an information desk and a waiting room.

The bus station is used by the Belle Savoie Express as the final stop for several city bus routes. In addition, next to the control Stac in occasional services (shuttles to La Féclaz ) and Euro Lines , Flixbus , Isilines and Ouibus in long distance bus at the bus station.
