Gareth Owen Llewellyn (born February 27, 1969 in Cardiff ) is a former Welsh rugby union player who was used as a second-line striker . He was active for the Welsh national team for 15 years .
Llewellyn made his national team debut against the All Blacks in 1989 . He was a permanent part of the Welsh selection until 1998 when he moved to England to join the Harlequins .
