Garsbach than Weiler a small district of Bad Berleburg in Siegen-Wittgenstein in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The nearby deserted area of Eckenfeld was first mentioned in 1356. The settlement was first mentioned in a document in 1710. From this year on, the Wittgenstein Counts settled the soft forest areas. The first settlers were called canonists. Since 1732 Garsbach has belonged to the Elsoffer quarter.
