Gary Hall Junior

Gary Hall Junior (born September 26, 1974 in Cincinnati ) is an American former swimmer .

At the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta , he won two gold medals with the US relay; more medals he won at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney and 2004 in Athens .

Hall's father, Gary Hall senior, was also a successful swimmer and won the silver medal in the 200 m butterfly at the 1972 Munich Olympic Games and the bronze medal in the 100 m butterfly at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal. At the opening ceremony in Montreal in 1976, when the athletes marched in, he carried the then two-year-old Gary Hall junior on his arm.
