Gaston Delaplane
Marcel Carlos Paul Gaston Delaplane (born March 6, 1882 in Le Havre , † December 12, 1977 in Nice ) was a French rower and track cyclist .
Gaston Delaplane took part in four rowing competitions at the 1906 Olympic Intermediate Games, all of which were held in the bay of Zea near Phaleron . On Tuesday, April 24th, he won the one over 1000 meters ahead of his compatriot Joseph Larran ; In the four with helmsman over 2000 meters, he took second place behind the Italian boat together with Charles Delaporte , Léon Delignières , Paul Échard and helmsman Marcel Frebourg .
