Henri Jan Wienese (born June 4, 1942 in Amsterdam ) is a former Dutch rower in the one who became Olympic champion in 1968.

Wienese won bronze at the European Championships in Duisburg in 1965, behind Jochen Meißner from the Federal Republic of Germany and Anatoli Sass from the Soviet Union. Two years later he won bronze again in Vichy behind Achim Hill from the GDR and the three-time Olympic champion Vyacheslav Ivanov . In 1968 Henricus Droog won the Dutch championship ahead of Wienese. At the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico City, Droog started in a double scull and won silver there. Wienese competed in the single and won his heat safely ahead of Achim Hill. Hill then won the first and Wienese the second semi-final. In the final, Wienese pulled away from the field early and won well ahead of Jochen Meißner and Alberto Demiddi from Argentina.

The 1.78 meter tall Jan Wienese started Roeivereniging ARGO for the Wagening students . He worked full-time as a physiotherapist and only trained in preparation for Mexico with a personal trainer, the Dutch 1928 Olympian Ansco Dokkum .
