Gaston Mottet (born October 20, 1899 in Paris , † September 12, 1973 ) was a French racing driver .

Career

Gaston Mottet was active as a sports car driver in the 1920s and 1930s and mainly competed in the Le Mans 24-hour race . He made his debut in 1925 as partner of Lucien Erb in a SARA ATS. The duo finished the race in 16th place overall. By 1933 he started four more times in this 24-hour race . The best place in the final ranking was 15th in 1928 .

In addition to competing in Le Mans, Mottet was also registered in the 1925 Spa-Francorchamps 24-hour race , where he and Erb achieved 23rd overall.
