André Marandet

André Marien Marandet (born October 6, 1898 - † February 27, 1976 ) was a French racing driver .

Career

André Marandet competed a total of six times in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the 1920s and 1930s . He made his debut in the inaugural race in 1923 , where the race ended prematurely after an accident. His best placement was sixth overall in 1927 , alongside his long-term teammate Gonzaque Lécureul in the SARA BDE.

Away from Le Mans, his best result was finishing 24th at the 1925 Spa-Francorchamps 24-hour race .
