Gonzaque Lécureul

Gonzaque Lécureul (born May 17, 1887 in Laval , † December 31, 1984 ) was a French racing car driver .

Career

Gonzaque Lécureul is one of the driver pioneers of the Le Mans 24-hour race . After his start in the debut race in 1923 , he competed four more times at the Sarthe. His best result was sixth overall place in 1927 , which he achieved together with his compatriot André Marandet on a works SARA . With the same team-mate, he finished 24th in the 1925 Spa-Francorchamps 24-hour race .
