The Rampoldplatte (also Ramboldplatte) ( 1422  m ) is a summit in the Wendelstein area , which belongs to the Mangfall Mountains in the Bavarian Prealps .

The Rampoldplatte is a meadow mountain that lies in the ridge that starts from the Hochsalwand , stretches to the northeast and turns north to northwest to the Farrenpoint .

Alpinism

The mountain, which has a simple cross on its summit, is crossed from the north when climbing the Hochsalwand. It can be reached from the Schuhbräualm via the Rampoldalm on the designated path in 40 minutes. A longer ascent leads from the Breitenberghaus over the Lechneralm to the summit. From the Jenbach valley south of Bad Feilnbach , the Rampoldplatte can be reached in two and a half hours via the west ridge; Caution is advised when descending this way.
