The Gauliga Alsace 1942/43 was the third season of the Gauliga Alsace of the professional football department . The Gauliga was played this season in a group in a round-robin tournament with ten teams. Since after the end of the league, FC Mulhouse and RSC Strasbourg were tied, there was a play-off in which the Mülhausen team won 1-0 and were therefore Gaumeister for the second time in Alsace. Through this championship, FC Mulhouse qualified for the German soccer championship 1942/43 , in which the team was eliminated in the first round after a 1: 5 away defeat against FV Saarbrücken . At the end of the season, FV Walk and Mars Bischheim were relegated, and TuS Schweighausen and FC Hüningen were promoted from the district league in return .
