The Gaussiran Glacier is a glacier in the Australian Antarctic Territory . In the eastern part of the Britannia Range of the Transantarctic Mountains, it flows from a saddle shared with the Merrick Glacier in a north-easterly direction to the Darwin Glacier , which it reaches between the Cranfield Icefalls and the Nebraska Peaks .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2000 after Lieutenant Charles Douglas Gaussiran (* 1944), pilot of a squadron of the United States Navy VX-6 flight squadron in a field camp on the Darwin Glacier between 1978 and 1979.
