Gaya Verneuil

Gaya Verneuil (* 1989 ), maiden name Gayané Verneuil , is a French actress.

Life

Gaya Verneuil is a daughter of the French director Henri Verneuil and the archaeologist Véronique Sédro. After the parents' divorce in 1999, she and her older brother Sevan, who later took his father's maiden name, Malakian , grew up with their grandparents in Switzerland and France. When her father died she was only 12 years old. She took courses at the Cours Florent in Paris and went to New York in 2009, where she continued her studies at the New York Film Academy . She played minor roles in two feature films in the USA. Since she did not get a work permit for the USA, she returned to France in 2011.

Her role as Chrystelle Da Silva in the crime series Candice Renoir made her known beyond France.
