Memorial Chapel (Hohenbrunn)
The Hohenbrunn Memorial Chapel is a path chapel in the Upper Bavarian community of Hohenbrunn in the Munich district . It is registered as an architectural monument in the Bavarian list of monuments.
location
The chapel is located southeast of the village of Hohenbrunn on Siegertsbrunner Straße about halfway between the village and the Hohenbrunn Süd industrial park. It is framed by two large trees.
description
The chapel dates from around 1840. It is a rectangular building with a gable roof and a polygonal apse . The walls are closed to the roof by a cornice . The building is open on the entrance side and has a barrel vault inside . There are benches on the two long sides. There is a pietà in the apse .
