Geert Wedge

Geert Keil (born August 27, 1963 in Düsseldorf ) is a German philosopher .

Career

After studying in Bochum and Hamburg , Geert Keil was a research assistant at the University of Hamburg from 1988 to 1991 , where he received his doctorate in 1991 . He then worked from 1992 to 1999 as a research assistant at the Humboldt University in Berlin , where he completed his habilitation in 1999 . From 2000 to 2005 he was a Heisenberg fellow of the DFG , from 2005 to 2010 he held the chair for theoretical philosophy at RWTH Aachen University . Since 2010 he has held the chair for Philosophical Anthropology at the Humboldt University in Berlin. In September 2018 he was elected President of the Society for Analytical Philosophy .
