The Geißspitz is 565 m above sea level. A. high elevation of the Rosaliengebirge in Burgenland ( Austria ).
The Geißspitz lies on a mountain range running in a southwest-northeast direction, which here also forms the border between the two municipal areas of Forchtenstein in the northwest and Mattersburg in the southeast. A marked hiking trail leads along the border from the two kilometers southwest of the border with Lower Austria over the summit of the Geißspitz to Forchtenstein. In addition, the area is developed with numerous forest roads.
The Geißspitz consists mainly of mica slate and is completely forested.
