Geir Eithun (born November 12, 1979 in Førde ) is a Norwegian volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career

Hall

Eithun started playing volleyball in his hometown at VBK Førde. He then played for many different international clubs, first at the Danish ASV Århus and then in Rethymno on Crete. in the 2005/06 season he played for the Turkish club Beyşehir Belediyesi. In 2006 Eithun went to Poland, first to Resovia Rzeszów and in 2007 to Płomień Sosnowiec. Finally, in 2008, he landed at Beauvais Oise in France.

Beach

Eithun has been playing at international beach volleyball tournaments with various partners since 2009. At the Brasília Open 2011 Eithun first appeared with Vegard Høidalen . At the European Championships in their own country , Eithun / Hoidalen reached the knockout round as third in the group. In 2012 Eithun got together with Iver Andreas Horrem . At the 2013 World Cup in Stare Jabłonki, Eithun / Horrem were eliminated without a win after the preliminary round.
