Gejza Bukowski von Stolzenburg

Gejza Bukowski von Stolzenburg (born November 25, 1858 in Bochnia , Galicia, † February 1, 1937 there ) was an Austrian geologist .

Bukowski of pride castle was in 1885 at the University of Vienna Dr. phil. PhD . From 1885 to 1889 he worked as an assistant at the Paleontological Institute of the University of Vienna. Between 1889 and 1918 Bukowski von Stolzenburg was at the Geological Reichsanstalt in Vienna. There he last held the position of chief geologist. From 1918 to 1937 he was employed in the Polish State Geological Office . Bukowski von Stolzenburg researched, among other things, freshwater mollusks from the Pliocene and the Carboniferous and Triassic of Yugoslavia.
