The yellow bertram ( Anacyclus radiatus ) is a species of the sunflower family (Asteraceae).
features
The yellow bertram is an annual plant that reaches heights of 15 to 30 centimeters. The leaves are heaped at the base of the stem and triple pinnate. The flower stalks are erect. The ray-flowers are white or yellow. The shell has a diameter of 15 to 18 millimeters. The bracts have a membranous appendage, the outer fruits have pointed wings.
The flowering period extends from June to August.
Occurrence
The yellow bertram occurs in the western and central Mediterranean region as well as in Syria and the Canary Islands on clearings, sandy pastures and old walls.

The yellow bertram is widely used as an ornamental plant for summer flower beds and as a cut flower. It has been in culture since 1883 at the latest.
Systematics
The species is very rich in forms, 2 subspecies have been described:
- Anacyclus radiatus subsp. radiatus : the rays are brownish on top, purple or brownish on the underside. It is originally found in the Canary Islands, Morocco, Libya, Portugal, Spain, France, Corsica, Italy and Sicily. In the Azores she is a neophyte.
- Anacyclus radiatus subsp. coronatus (Murbeck) Humphries : The rays are white. This subspecies occurs in southern Morocco and the Canary Islands.
