Gen'ichi Koidzumi

Gen'ichi Koidzumi ( Japanese 小泉 源 一 , Koizumi Gen'ichi ; * November 1, 1883 , † 1953 ), also transcribed Gen'ichi Koizumi or Gen-Iti Koidzumi , was a Japanese botanist . His botanical author's abbreviation is “ Koidz. ".

Koidzumi wrote writings on phytogeography as well as monographs on rose plants (Rosaceae), maple plants (formerly regarded as a separate plant family Aceraceae) and the genus of the mulberries ( Morus ).
