Geoff Rowley (born June 6, 1976 in Liverpool ) is a British skateboarder .

Rowley moved to the United States in 1994 because of a sponsorship offer. Since then he has been part of the professional scene and has set new standards with his tricks in the skateboarding scene . His sponsors include Flip Skateboards , Vans , OJ wheels , civilware service Corp. and mob griptape . Geoff Rowley now lives in Huntington Beach .

In 2000 he was named Skater of the Year ( SOTY ) by Thrasher Magazine .

He is also a playable character in some of the games in the Tony Hawk's Skateboarding video game series .

In addition, a skateboard trick was named after him: the "Rowley Darkslide".
