Geoff Sullivan

Geoff Sullivan is a historian and cryptologist best known for his publications in these fields as well as simulation programs for historical cryptological machines.

Act

Geoff Sullivan deals with classical cryptology. He is particularly interested in the key rotor machines used in World War II . One example is the ENIGMA used in radio communications by the German Wehrmacht and its cryptanalysis .

Geoff Sullivan is a member of the Crypto Simulation Group (CSG) , which develops simulation programs for numerous historical encryption machines and makes them available for free download (see web links : Geoff's Crypto page ).
