Geoffrey Fletcher
Geoffrey Shawn Fletcher (born October 4, 1970 in New London , Connecticut , USA ) is an American screenwriter , professor and Oscar winner.
He is professor of film at Columbia University and New York University . He gained fame as the author of the adapted screenplay for Precious - Life is Precious (2009), for which he was awarded an Oscar in 2010. His next project was Violet & Daisy (2011), with which he made his debut as a director and producer. In 2013 and 2014 he made several short films, in whose story development he was involved.
