Georg August Carl Mönckeberg

Georg August Carl Mönckeberg (* 19th February 1816 in Hamburg ; † 9. September 1874 in Westerland on Sylt ) was a German Riemer - and master saddler .

Life

Georg August Carl Mönckeberg was the son of Georg Heinrich Mönckeberg, who came from Rodenberg . He was a senior man in the office of Riemer and Sattler in Hamburg. Mönckeberg was elected to replace the Hamburg Constituent Assembly in 1848 and convened for its 9th session on January 6, 1849. From 1859 to 1861 he was a member of the Hamburg citizenship , for which he was elected by the hereditary citizenship from the elderly of the guild trades . Mönckeberg resigned from the office of senior man in 1861 and therefore had to resign from the citizenry.
