Johann Georg Martin Brückner (born October 31, 1800 in Oberneubrunn , † July 1, 1881 in Meiningen ) was a German geographer and historian from the county of Henneberg .

Coming from a humble background, he made it to the position of privy councilor and professor at the secondary school in Meiningen.
