Georg Christoph Conradi

Georg Christoph Conradi (born June 8, 1767 in Rössing ; † December 16, 1798 ) was a German medic .

In 1789 he obtained the degree of a medical doctor and was then a general practitioner in Hameln . In 1792 he was appointed city ​​physician in Northeim .

He became known through his research with the result that a cut cataract could be dissolved and absorbed by the watery moisture. He thus developed an operating technique based on which, decades after his death, eye drops were still in use under the name Conradi's eye wash .
