Georg Ernst Ludwig Freiherr von Preuschen von und zu Liebenstein , until 1782 Georg Ernst Ludwig Preusch , until 1791 von Preuschen (born February 26, 1727 in Diethardt , † September 1, 1794 in Ems ) was the margrave's secret council in Karlsruhe , Prince of Orange-Nassauer secret council and district president zu Dillenburg .

Prussia was the son of the metropolitan and pastor Gerhard Helfried Preusch in Nidda . He was raised to the imperial nobility on March 5, 1782 by Emperor Joseph II and entrusted to Liebenstein Castle and the nearby village of Osterspai on July 11, 1783 by the House of Nassau . On 28 July 1791, he was Emperor Leopold II. Into the realm baron collected and led from there to the title "to and from Liebenstein". In 1792 he was accepted into the imperial knighthood on the Middle Rhine. He was married to Margaretha Luise nee Büttner (1731–1799). His son of the same name Georg Ernst Ludwig von Preuschen von und zu Liebenstein (1764–1849) became President of the Higher Appeal Court in Wiesbaden and a member of the state parliament. His son August also became an appellate judge and a member of the state parliament.

Preuschen was a lawyer and professor in Giessen. The Bavarian Academy of Sciences appointed him in 1759 - the year the academy was founded - as an external member.
