Georg Ernst von Reichau

Georg Ernst von Reichau (born May 7, 1658 in Bärwalde ; † April 21, 1735 ) was a German monastery officer in the Danish-Norwegian service.

Life

Georg Ernst von Reichau was a son of the Baden-Durlach privy councilor Friedrich von Reichau and his wife Catharina, née von Fuchs. As a boy he came to the Danish court, where he became a precutter and chamberlain . In 1685 he became bailiff over Aalholm and Maribo . In 1689 he also took over the office of Halsted . In 1697 von Reichau was appointed State Councilor, and in 1717 he was appointed Conference Councilor. In 1722 he was appointed commander in chief of Lolland and Falster . In 1729 he was awarded the white ribbon.

Marriages and offspring

On May 6, 1685 von Reichau married Countess Sophie Amalie Holck. The daughter Sophie Ulrikke (* July 1689 in Ålholm , † March 19, 1745 in Bergegård) emerged from the marriage. She married the Council of State Christian Corneliusen Lerche in 1711 , Colonel Christian Ulrich von Hausmann in 1722 , and Major General Jacob Friderich von der Lühe in 1735 .

On September 25, 1699 von Reichau married Anna Margrethe von Knuth . The daughters Louise (* 1701; † 1745) and Sophie Amalie (* 1703; † 1729) emerged from the marriage. Louise married the chamberlain Cornelius Johan Lerche in 1722, Sophie Amalia married Colonel Gustav Eherenreich von Poell in 1729.
