Georg Friedrich Boehler

Georg Friedrich Böhler (born May 5, 1799 in Frankfurt am Main ; † May 17, 1857 ibid) was a wholesale merchant and politician in the Free City of Frankfurt .

Georg Friedrich Böhler sold in his shop Zeil 54 “Parisian and English shorts”, gelanterie and fashion goods and straw hats as wholesalers and retailers . In 1847 he belonged to the legislative body and in 1848 to the constitutional committee of the Constituent Assembly of the Free City of Frankfurt .

Böhler was married. His sons Emil (1843–1882) and Albert Böhler (1845–1899) were the founders of the Böhler works .
