Georg Gutke (born October 1, 1589 in Cölln , today in Berlin , † August 14, 1634 in Berlin) was a German philosopher and educator.
Life
Gutke went to the grammar school in Halle in 1607 , but left it again soon after the outbreak of the plague. He later stayed at the Brandenburg University of Frankfurt for a year and a half . From there he went to Leucorea , became a master’s degree in 1613 and dean of the philosophy faculty there in 1618. In the same year he was appointed director of the Gray Monastery high school in Berlin.
