Georg Heinrich Engelhard

Georg Heinrich Engelhard (* 12 July 1798 in Frankfurt am Main ; † 13. April 1875 ibid ) was a pharmacist and politician of the Free City of Frankfurt .

Georg Heinrich Engelhard was a pharmacist in Frankfurt am Main. In 1828 he founded the rose pharmacy, which among other things offered the Frankfurt pills . After his death, his son Karl Philipp Engelhardt took over the pharmacy and expanded it into a pharmaceutical company ( Engelhard Arzneimittel ).

Engelhard was elected to the Constituent Assembly of the Free City of Frankfurt on October 25, 1848 . From 1852 to 1857 he was a member of the Legislative Body .
