Heser's education is in the dark. In 1625 he entered the Jesuit order. He taught theology and dialectics at the Jesuit college in Ingolstadt and at the Jesuit college in Munich . He was a preacher at the Moritzkirche in Augsburg from 1642 to 1649 and was then preacher at the Marienmünster in Ingolstadt for 13 years . His further career is also unknown. He was a prolific writer who, in addition to various monographic writings, wrote a short commentary on the Book of Psalms in 1654 and, from 1673 to 1675, a detailed commentary .
