Georg Karl Neuner

Georg Karl Neuner (born June 24, 1815 in Darmstadt , † August 29, 1882 in Kiel ) was a German lawyer .

Life

Born the son of a medical officer, Neuner went to high school in Darmstadt and studied law in Heidelberg and Giessen . During his studies he became a member of the Old Heidelberg Burschenschaft Franconia in 1834 and of the Old Gießen Burschenschaft Germania in 1835 . In 1834 he was supported by the University of Heidelberg for his Burschenschaft union activity relegated . He was mentioned in the Black Book of the Frankfurt Central Authority (1833-1838). In 1842 he was promoted to Dr. iur. PhD .

After his time as an accessist at the Darmstadt court , he passed the state examination in 1847 and became a private lecturer in 1848 and an associate professor for Roman law at the University of Giessen in 1851 . In 1854 he went to Kiel as a full professor , where he was rector of the university from 1874 to 1876.
