Georg Rammer

Georg Rammer (born January 13, 1946 in Budapest , Hungary ) is a German psychologist , author and publicist . He has built up the psychosocial service of the city of Karlsruhe since 1974 and later led it. Since his retirement in 2009 , he has worked primarily as an author, speaker and publicist.

Life

After the 1956 uprising in Hungary, the family fled to Germany. After high school and military service, Georg Rammer studied psychology in Tübingen . He combined his studies with practical work in a homeless community and in a youth center. a. with rockers. From 1974 he began to set up the psychosocial service in Karlsruhe , a new type of offer of psychological counseling and psychosocial help especially for families, parents, children and young people in disadvantaged situations at the time. Georg Rammer has headed this position since 1980. He played a key role in establishing one of the first communal advice centers for sexual violence “AllerleiRauh” in Karlsruhe in 1990 and played a decisive role in setting up the “Early Help” advice center. Two conferences served as a technical basis for a new care structure to promote empathy: "Baby, Bonding and Advice" and "Feel It!" In 2009 he retired and devoted himself to numerous publications, conference and congress contributions and interviews to technical and political topics ( see below). He is involved in the working group "Solidarisch Leben" from Attac Karlsruhe.
