Georg Reinige

Johann Georg Reinige (born June 6, 1798 in Karlsbad ; † January 2, 1878 in Sachsenberg ) was a German pharmacist and politician .

Reinige was the son of field doctor Wilhelm Reinige and his wife Magdalene nee Teschauer. He married Friederike Petrie from Lippstadt around 1835. Reinige grew up in Neuenkirchen and worked there for many years in the pharmaceutical industry. After the government refused to work as a self-employed pharmacist there in 1827, he leased the pharmacy in Sachsenberg in 1829, which he bought in 1834. In 1840 he gave up the pharmacy and lived in Lippstadt . In 1854 he bought the pharmacy in Sachsenberg again and sold it in 1857 for family reasons.

From 1859 to 1860 he was a member of the state parliament of the Principality of Waldeck-Pyrmont . He was elected in the constituency of Eisenberg .
