Georg Reiser (born March 8, 1962 in Karlsruhe ) is a former German soccer player and today's goalkeeping coach .

Career

As a player

Via SV Zeutern , Reiser switched to the youth team at Karlsruher SC in 1982 . In the 1984/85 season he made his Bundesliga debut for KSC on the 17th matchday in the 5-0 away defeat against VfB Stuttgart . This season he was no longer used in the Bundesliga and the KSC was relegated. He was also not used in the 2nd Bundesliga . Via VfB Gaggenau , he moved to the then third division club SV Sandhausen in 1987 , for whom he played for nine years. Between 1996 and 1999 he let his career end at SGK Heidelberg .

As a goalkeeper coach

Then Reiser stayed as a goalkeeping coach at SGK. He later moved to FC 07 Heidelsheim . Between 2004 and 2014 he worked for the TSG 1899 Hoffenheim youth academy . He then returned to Karlsruhe and between 2014 and 2015 was responsible for the goalkeeping training of the KSC's U-19s. Currently works for the U-16 and U-15.
